National Diving and Activity Centre trip

The trip to the National Diving and Activity Centre was blessed with great weather although the water was a tad chilly at 7°C on the surface. Two people completed their dry suit course and another had his first dives with South Bristol Divers.

First dives of 2015

The first dives of the year have taken place with a visit to the NDAC where the water was a balmy 6C. Brrrrr!

We went to the NDAC last week end to get some warm up dives and depth progression ready for the Westbay week end.

UK Diving has started!

We have finally got the season started with two groups going diving. One group took Tenbar and dived out of Mount Batten Plymouth taking in the Scylla and Mewstone. The others did some dry suit training at the NDAC Chepstow.

Training at NDAC last Sunday

Sports diver and Dive Leader training took place at NDAC last Sunday. We did some depth progression to 35m from where we could see the trumpet! New items to explore were a single decker and a double decker bus.

Vobster and NDAC

Bad weather at sea in June meant two more inland training trips for the Sports Divers, one to Vobster and one to the NDAC.

Although we were blown out at Kimmeridge, we had a great time training at the NDAC this week end. J
