Pride of Bristol trip to Lundy
Our trip to Lundy on board the Pride of Bristol was a little more exciting than we expected. It started with a wonderful trip down the Avon under the suspension bridge and past historic spots of Bristol. As we moved down the Severn the Force 7 winds caused an agitated sea. So much so that one of the lifeboats thought we had capsized and set itself off! It was later retrieved by the RNLI in Ilfracombe. We were unable to dive but I personally had a great time being allowed to steer the boat part of the way back to Bristol and having a tour of the engine room. Many thanks to the crew.

Fun at the Docks
A few of us had a fun day practicing boat handling at the docks in Bristol. The sun shone so we went all the way to the far end of the Feeder Canal and had lunch and a drink on the way. We also saw the Pride of Bristol which we have booked to go to Lundy next year.
