Dive Plans for 2015

We are planning lots of diving for 2015. Those that are definite are already on the calendar. Others are being added as they are confirmed. Can't wait to dust my fins off and get wet!

Pride of Bristol trip to Lundy

Our trip to Lundy on board the Pride of Bristol was a little more exciting than we expected. It started with a wonderful trip down the Avon under the suspension bridge and past historic spots of Bristol. As we moved down the Severn the Force 7 winds caused an agitated sea. So much so that one of the lifeboats thought we had capsized and set itself off! It was later retrieved by the RNLI in Ilfracombe. We were unable to dive but I personally had a great time being allowed to steer the boat part of the way back to Bristol and having a tour of the engine room. Many thanks to the crew.

Fantastic Red Sea Trip

We all had a brilliant time on the Red Sea holiday. Turtles, wrecks and dolphins as well as the beautiful reefs. The pod of dolphins on the last day was the largest we've ever seen with 200 or more swimming around and under the boat. Incredible!

Starting the Season

Apart from a couple of intrepid members that dived in January (brrrr!!!), we have been a little slow on going diving this year. However we have finally started with 12 of us going to Marsa Alam for a week of sun, diving and all inclusive! Now all we have to do is dive in Britain.

We finally made Kimmeridge. Some excellent dives plus an interesting afternoon at sea!
